Dr. Evert Stolte is an experimental physicist with an interest in condensed matter and, more specifically, controlling the quantum spin of individual atoms. Currently, he is a postdoc in the FQT group at UNSW under Andrea Morello, where he's working on Sb donor devices in silicon with a focus on logical encodings and quantum error correction.
Evert completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics at Leiden University, with a specialization in Quantum Matter. During his PhD at Delft University of Technology in the Otte Lab, he worked on probing nuclear spin dynamics in individual on-surface atoms using scanning tunneling microscopy combined with electron spin resonance (ESR-STM).
